Updates to the 2025–2026 Calendar After Snow Days
At its business meeting on Feb. 19, the Board of Education adopted technical amendments to the 2025–2026 school year calendar.
What You Need to Know
Friday, March 20, will remain a non-instructional day for professional development and will not be used as a make-up day for weather-related closures.
Due to the weather-related closure on Monday, Feb. 23, the last day of school has now shifted to Friday, June 26. This will be an early release day.
The following days will be full instructional days:
- Thursday, June 18 (full day)
- Monday, June 22 (full day)
- Wednesday, June 24 (full day)
- Thursday, June 25 (early release day)
- Friday, June 26 (early release day)
Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth) remains a systemwide closure for the federal and state holiday (schools and offices are closed), and Tuesday, June 23 will be a non-instructional day to allow for county elections (schools are used as polling locations and will be closed).
For Arcola Elementary School (Innovative Calendar School), the last day of school will be June 17.
