Boundary Recommendations and Proposed Regional Programs, Next Steps

Boundary Recs (1).png

On Feb. 5, Superintendent Thomas Taylor presented to the Montgomery County Board of Education his boundary recommendations—a modified version of Option B for the reopening of Charles W. Woodward and a modified version of Option H for the relocation of Thomas S. Wootton High School to Crown Farm. He also proposed a regional secondary model that would provide students with increased access to a broad range of programs. You may watch the Board meeting presentation here.

As a next step, the Board of Education will review the recommendations and continue gathering community input before the scheduled vote on March 26.

Community members are encouraged to submit testimony and participate in upcoming public hearings here.
