Goshen Elementary School came together for Pink Out Tuesday on Oct. 28 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to celebrate one of their own warriors, Ruth Wilson, the school’s administrative secretary.

A breast cancer survivor, Mrs. Wilson is known as the heart of Goshen’s front office, inspiring students and staff alike with her strength, kindness and resilience.

“Mrs. Wilson represents the courage and hope that today’s Breast Cancer Awareness Day is all about,” said Principal Nichola Wallen. “We are so proud to honor her along with all the incredible women who continue to fight, survive and thrive. Mrs. Wilson is a true hero in pink!”

Students and staff showed their support by wearing pink and celebrating the power of community, courage and care at Goshen Elementary.
