2025 Board of Education Legislative Summit

Montgomery County Board of Education hosted the 2025 Legislative Summit at Richard Montgomery High School to dive into the 2026 Legislative Platform—a roadmap of key education priorities that impact our students. 

Priority issues included: 

• Graduation Credit Review
• Flexibility Applied to Community Schools Funding
• Relief from Blueprint-Required Funding of AP/IB Exams
• Minimum Instructional Time Requirements

The Board of Education will formally adopt the platform.
