🔥 They’re On Fire! — Week 1 of the MCPS Fire Ribbon Recognition Takes Off Across the District

MCPS has officially sparked something new — and it's spreading fast.

The MCPS Fire Ribbon — also known as the Unleashing Potential Award — launched this week, and in just a few days, it's already catching fire across schools and Central Services.

This brand-new recognition program is all about celebrating the doers, motivators, and behind-the-scenes heroes who are lighting up the start of the school year. Whether it's a team member going the extra mile, someone who stepped in to help without being asked, or a colleague whose energy is just contagiously positive, the Fire Ribbon is how we shout: “You're on fire!”
