2025 Summer RISE Closing Ceremony

More than 1,000 students and 230 partner organizations were celebrated during the Summer RISE closing ceremony, held July 25 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. During the event, students had the opportunity to network with host organizations and their peers, and hear from local leaders.

The Summer RISE program provides rising juniors and seniors with hands-on, career-based learning experiences while helping employers cultivate a talent pipeline. The program is made possible with the collaboration of local businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. This year, participants earned a $500 stipend while exploring careers that matched their interests.
