How to Apply

To complete an application online, follow the steps below:

1. Go to www.mcpscareers.org
2. Scroll down to "FIND A JOB" and select the “Transportation” box
3. You will see the advertisement for Bus Operator or Bus Attendant. Click on the "Apply" button (located directly below the position title)
4. If you already have an account, log in. If not, create a username and password (make note of this information)
5. Fill out the application
6. Upon completion, please click "Submit." You will receive an email confirming your application submission

Once the application has been submitted, we will begin the screening process. If all requirements are met, you will receive an email with the next step(s).

Excellent Pay & Benefits

Benefits are for all Full-Time bus operators. We offer a split-shift schedule. Yes, you can get FT benefits working less than 40 hours!

Starting Pay: $26.47/hour (once you successfully complete the bus operator training)

Paid Training

Staff from the Safety, Training and Staff Development Team will teach you how to drive a bus and administer your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) test on-site. Best of all, you'll be paid while training once you have earned your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Learner's Permit with the proper endorsements.
