STUDENT AND DATA SYSTEMS

The Department of Student and Data Systems manages daily operations and enhancements to the student data systems, including the student information system, the student data warehouse, grade books, online registration systems, and the parent/guardian and student portals. To ensure operational excellence and staff productivity, the department streamlines administrative processes, provides advanced technical support, and ensures efficient access to data, dashboards, and reports for school-based and central-based staff. Their work directly aligns with MCPS strategic goals. The Department of Student and Data Systems is also responsible for collaborating with other MCPS offices, government agencies, and external vendors on new initiatives, data system integrations, and enhancements driven by district strategic initiatives and priorities.
