High School 3-Minute Thesis or HS3MT (hs3mt.org). HS3MT is a national contest for high school students to present a research project in just 3 minutes with a single slide. This is a chance for students to share their research, get noticed, and compete for a cash prize.

Why should a student apply:

  • The top entry wins a $1000 and the title of National Champion
  • It is open to every academic subject, so whatever your passion, the stage is yours.
  • It is modeled after the world-renowned graduate level 3MT competition
  • The competition has received support from university deans to nationally recognized speech and debate coaches

  • Make a short, recorded video (up to 3 minutes) with a single slide
