SMOB Advisory Council
The appointed staff of the SMOB Advisory Council meets once a month from 6:00-7:30 pm, at Carver Educational Services Center (auditorium) - 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, MD.
General Expectations
- Attend ALL SMOB Advisory Council (SAC) meetings.
- Give a 6 hour prior notice to the SMOB if unable to attend a meeting.
- Maintain regular communication with the SMOB and Chief of Staff.
- If a member has 2 unexcused absences, the SMOB withholds the right to remove and replace that member of the council.

- September 23, 2020 – Up-county
- October 14, 2020 – Mid-county
- October 21, 2020 – Down-county
- November 11, 2020 – East-county
- November 18, 2020 – West-county
News and Highlights
The SMOB Advisory Council invited two Cluster Security Coordinators from the MCPS School Safety and Security Department. Students were able to hear more about school safety procedures and ask questions.
