MCPSRA LUNCHEON AND BUSINESS MEETING

If MCPS is closed, luncheon is cancelled.  Delayed opening, luncheon is held.

Gathering:  11:00 a.m.  Business Meeting:  11:30 a.m.  Luncheon:  Noon   Program:  1:00 p.m.

The speaker will be Randy Trivers who is currently the head football coach at Gonzaga High School. Randy has been coaching football for 30 years including 23 years as head coach of three football programs.

Randy is a Sherwood HS graduate. He attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where he played running back and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in African American studies. He earned his Master’s Degree at the University of Maryland and currently teaches classic literature and African American literature
at Gonzaga HS.

He was the first coach at Northwest HS where in nine seasons he led the team to five division championships and one state
championship. He has led the Gonzaga Eagles to an 81-38 record in 11 seasons, including back-to-back DCSAA State Championship titles and the first WCAC Championship since 2002. Randy coached Caleb Williams, winner of the Heisman Trophy in 2022.
