To work closely with schools and offices in order to design and deliver high-quality professional development on the integration of technology into teaching, learning, and operations.

What does it look like?

• A team of Technology Implementation Specialists (TIS)
• Wide range of topics from classroom-based technologies to business and reporting systems
• Models vary from job-embedded coaching to formal whole group trainings to comprehensive credit-bearing courses
• Face-to-face, hybrid, and online opportunities that may be facilitated or self-paced

About Us

The Technology Innovation, Management, and Modernization office is a key component of the Montgomery County Public School strategic technology plan, Educational Technology for 21st Century Learning. This office builds upon the following four goals: students will use technology to become actively engaged in learning, schools will address the digital divide through equitable access to technology, staff will improve technology skills through professional development, and staff will use technology to improve productivity and results.
