EXCEPTIONS – Listed below are scheduled for alternative modality and completion dates

*Department of Transportation
   (Bus Operators and attendants must have compliance completed prior to transporting students.)

*Division of Food & Nutrition Services
   (cafeteria managers, cafeteria workers, cafeteria substitutes, school and non-school based staff – See supervisor)

*Maintenance and Operations
(service center-based staff: building automation systems technicians, carpenters, electricians, general maintenance workers, HVAC-R technicians, plumbers, preventive maintenance workers, roofers, tool and equipment mechanics, and other technicians who work in specialty trade shops) (school and non-school based building service staff: managers, assistant managers, workers, ICB workers, and rovers)

*Department of Materials Management
   (warehouse workers, supply workers, truck drivers, building service workers, automotive technicians)

*Three (3) hours will be programmed within pre-service week for all school-based staff to take online compliance training. MCEA unit members may elect to take their online compliance training before the start of pre-service week. Teachers who choose to do so will be released (with pay) from the scheduled three hours of time during pre-service week dedicated for compliance training. This year, ALL 10-month school and non-school based supporting services SEIU Local 500 unit members will be provided time by their principal/supervisor to complete their training during a designated time of pre-service week or complete the training prior to pre-service and be compensated three hours pay (Tier II).

**SEIU Local 500 employees who coach fall sports must complete the training prior to coaching/working with students. The fall sports season begins on Wednesday. August 12, 2026.
