The Network Operations programs is for students seeking to build the foundation for a long-term career in the Information Technology industry. Students in the program work toward industry-standard CompTIA A+ certifications in computer hardware and operating systems and Network+ computer network configuration and administration.
The Network Operations program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in computer hardware, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, and IT support. Students learn to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain devices and network infrastructure while developing problem-solving and customer service skills essential for IT careers. The curriculum covers topics such as PC components, mobile devices, cloud computing, network protocols, routing and switching, network security, and virtualization. Through hands-on labs and real-world scenarios, students gain the knowledge and technical skills needed to successfully prepare for the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ industry certifications and entry-level IT careers.
