About the Program

The Carpentry program provides students with opportunities to learn about the home-building industry.  Participants in this program master a variety of construction skills.  Students apply their knowledge and skills by participating in the student -build house project.  Students who complete this program as eligible to receive credit at Montgomery college in the Construction technology program, as well as industry recognized credentials through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
