About the Program

This course is designed for students new to the automotive program. Identification standards covered include an introduction to the following areas: introduction to automobiles; vehicle terminology and systems; tool and personal safety; preventative maintenance; lubrication of systems; proper use of tools and equipment; automotive physics; employability and communication skills.
