Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

The Walter Johnson (WJ) Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) extends a warm welcome to our new WJ families and an enthusiastic "Welcome Back!" to our returning WJ families! We look forward to another exciting year with WJ's fabulous and engaging administrators, excellent teachers, eager students and supportive parents. It really does take a strong community to make WJ an excellent school and the PTSA sincerely hopes that you, our families, will be involved.

The Walter Johnson High School PTSA is a dedicated group of Parents, Teachers and Students who work together in support of the school and community. The PTSA offers speakers and events for parents and students throughout the year, on topics including college-readiness, health & wellness, and information on school initiatives and curriculum.  We also sponsor the annual Prom Breakfast to keep our students safe and we work closely with the WJ administration to advocate for school resources.

It is important for all WJ parents, students and teachers to join the PTSA.   Our numbers show the commitment of our community, which translates into support from our elected officials in Montgomery County and the State of Maryland. The links above provide additional information about the WJ PTSA and its members and services.
