Outdoor Ed Parent Information Nights
Join us to learn about Outdoor Education for 6th grade students!
You are invited to our Outdoor Ed. Parent Information meetings on Wednesday, July 29th OR Thursday, August 6th. The meetings will be on Zoom from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. We will present the same information at both meetings, and we will have additional meetings at the beginning of the school year for any families that are not able to join these meetings.
We will also have an in-person Parent Information meeting on Monday, August 10th at the Smith Center (5110 Meadowside Ln, Rockville, MD 20855). This meeting will feature the same presentation as the Zoom meetings, and families will also be able to tour the Smith Center and ask questions.
This year, our Outdoor Education program for 6th graders is in mid-September. Cpt. Gretchen Winch, the Outdoor Ed coordinator, will present important information regarding session dates, student forms, what to bring, and an overview of the instructional program at Outdoor Ed. We hope to see you there!

¡Venga a una reunión de padres sobre educación al aire libre para estudiantes de 6to grado!
Marquen sus calendarios: el miércoles 29 de julio o el jueves 6 de agosto, habrá una reunión para padres, de 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. en linea (Zoom). Presentaremos la misma información en ambas reuniones. Tendremos reuniones adicionales después de que comience el año escolar para cualquier familia que no pueda unirse a las reuniones de agosto.
También tendremos una reunión informativa presencial para padres el lunes 10 de agosto en el Smith Center (5110 Meadowside Ln, Rockville, MD 20855). En esta reunión se ofrecerá la misma presentación que en las reuniones por Zoom, y las familias también podrán recorrer las instalaciones del Smith Center y hacer preguntas.
Este año, nuestro programa de educación al aire libre para estudiantes de sexto grado se llevará en septiembre. La Srta. Winch presentará información sobre las fechas del viaje, los formularios que deben llenar, que deben traer, y un repaso sobre el programa educativo que se seguirá durante el viaje de educación al aire libre.
