Greetings from the Family Engagement Specialist
My name is Himilce (Vanessa) Arraez, and I am honored to serve as the Family Engagement Specialist for both John Poole Middle School and Poolesville High School. In this role, I work in partnership with families, staff, and administrators to strengthen home–school connections that support student success.
I assist families by helping them navigate the school system, access academic and community resources, and stay informed and engaged in their students’ educational experiences.
I value building strong relationships with families and serving as a reliable point of contact for guidance and support. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am happy to assist families in either language. Whether you have questions, are seeking resources, or need help navigating school processes, I am here to help. I look forward to partnering with you to promote the success and well-being of every student.
