If your child is going to be arriving late to school or will be absent from school for any reason, please complete this Student Absence Form.
If your child will be leaving school early for any reason, please send an email to Mrs. Winessa Crutchfield, at Winessa_R_Crutchfield@mcpsmd.org and Ms. Alison D’Aiutolo at Alison_M_D’Aiutolo@mcpsmd.org. The main office will do their best to have your child ready for dismissal at the time you specify.
As a reminder, not all absences are excused. MCPS recognizes the following as excused absences:
- Death in immediate family
- Observance or religious holidays
- Illness of the student
- Suspension
- State emergency
- Court summons
- Weather conditions that make it hazardous to travel to school
- Lack of authorized (MCPS) transportation
