Amanda Cheatham, 4th grade teacher, Center for Enriched Studies I am so excited to be teaching at Chevy Chase! I got my master's degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University and my undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego in Political Science and Communication. I have three beautiful children that also attend MCPS schools. I am a huge animal lover and have a dog and a cat as family members as well. I also foster animals over the summer when I have a little more free time. My favorite activities are reading (I love historical fiction), running, traveling, and just generally being outside. I'm looking forward to a great year! |

Yena Lee, 4th grade teacher Hi there! I'm Yena Lee, a bilingual teacher who loves helping students learn, grow, and have fun along the way. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me exploring new places, practicing yoga (or trying to!), and cooking up something tasty. I also love spending time with my favorite people—family and friends. I can't wait for another awesome year together! |

I have my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Penn State and a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden University. I have taught in grades 2-5 and absolutely love being a part of the Chevy Chase community! I currently live in Bethesda and enjoy walking around town.
