Maryland Report Card for Chevy Chase Elementary School

Winter Break Reading BINGO

Winter Break is right around the corner, but don't take a break from reading!  This fun BINGO activity is a great way to spend some of that down time.  After break, students who complete three rows of the BINGO card can see Mrs. Vincent for a reading pencil.  Students who complete four rows will receive a pencil and bookmark!

Scripps National Spelling Bee - School-based Round

 Chevy Chase ES will participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in late January.  Words in the classroom bee will come from a variety of books.  Read on for more information.

MCPS Drinking Water Testing Program

All drinking water outlets in MCPS schools were tested for lead levels in June 2018.  The lead levels at CCES were below the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recommended level.  A letter explaining the test program and the CCES testing summary are attached.
