Phylicia Albert, 3rd grade teacher I am so excited to join the CCES community and to teach third grade. I am a graduate of MCPS and graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught fourth grade for several years and more recently fifth grade in MCPS. I grew up and currently live in the Bethesda area. Some of my interests include international travel, the beach, nutrition and wellness, pickleball, dodgeball, and working out at the gym. I am excited to meet my third-grade students and for an outstanding year of learning. |

Sami Monarch, 3rd grade teacher I am from Rockville, MD and am an MCPS grad! I earned my bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Penn State. I’ve taught kindergarten and first grade before making this jump to 3rd! Some of my favorites include building Legos, going to the beach, hanging out with friends and family, or playing with my dogs, Chip and Dale. I can’t wait to meet all my new students and have a fun, fantastic year together! |

Kristen Vann, 3rd grade teacher I am from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Development from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I have my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Moreland University. I have taught preschool, 2nd and 3rd grade. Outside of school, I love spending time with my dog, Remy and baking! I am so excited to meet and work with the CCES community! |

Nicole Wade, 3rd grade teacher, Team Leader I love teaching third grade! I have been teaching third grade for over two decades. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Bowie State University and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
