Happy summer and welcome to the Westland 2024 Summer Learning Exploration!
This summer you will complete a summer assignment in the areas of math, English, and a school-wide reading of Linked by Gordon Korman that centers around important aspects of our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.
All three assignments will be available through this classroom and should be completed by Friday, August 30th.
During the MYP Summer Learning portion we will explore the concepts of anti-semitism and restorative justice. Our main focus will be about how to combat hate and antisemitism to build a safe, respectful and responsible school community for all people.
Be sure to acquire the book, Linked, by Gordon Korman in order to complete the community read aspect of the MYP learning engagement.
