Middle School Tennis: beginner and intermediate level. We use the game-based learning format. A short instructional component followed by games incorporating the technical or tactical components demonstrated at the beginning of each class. The students have FUN, RUN & LEARN. Both doubles and singles play with drill games. Intermediate-level students may progress and migrate into the Varsity Futures groupings. Socially, we try to allow friends of different skill levels to be “together”.
Varsity Futures Tennis intermediate and advanced who aspire to play on their future high school tennis teams. There will be team matches vs North Bethesda Middle School and Pyle MS, and there will be a tournament for all three middle schools held at Walter Johnson HS.
