  • Common App. Coalition App. FAFSA Work Sessions

    College and Career Center is open during lunch time for Seniors to work on your Common App. and Coalition App.  Computer work stations and Chrome books are available.  Ms. Yang is on-hand to answer any questions.  Gentle reminder, no food and drinks allowed in the Career Center.

  • ASVAB   Magruder HS will offer ASVAB to students.  ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a 3-hour assessment and is the most widely used of its kind in the world.  It assesses a student’s ability to learn new skills and is a predicator of success in training and education programs.  The test scores provide a snapshot of current knowledge and skills and can be compared with the educational or job requirements for occupations of interest.  Taking the test is not a commitment in any way to join the military.  Please come to register for the test in Career Center by Oct. 31.  The test will be on Nov. 9. 

  • Hispanic College Fair    Magruder High School is offering a unique opportunity for you to learn more about the college application process and the options of different colleges.   Please join us for Hispanic College Fair Field Trip at Bohrer Park, Gaithersburg On November 8, 2018. You can check out a broad range of colleges/universities and vocational training institutions.  Meet representatives from these institutions, learn about the many options, and compare the offerings of participating institutions. Scholarship and grant information will be available.  All are welcome, we strongly encourage students of Hispanic and Latino decent to participate.  Sign up in Career Center by Oct. 31.
