Disability Support Services at the College Level
The Montgomery College Office of Disability Support Services is offering an information night for parents and students on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. The program will discuss the transition from high school to college and how to maximize your college experience. Full details are available here.

Transition services are defined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as a coordinated set of activities for students that is designed within an outcome-oriented process, which promotes movement from school to post-school activities. These outcomes include:
- Postsecondary education
- Vocational training
- Integrated employment
- Continuing and Adult education
- Adult services
- Independent living
- Community participation
