Elaine Ferrell, Home School Model
I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Silver Spring in 2011. I have a Bachelor's in English and Theater from American University, and a Master's in Education from George Washington University. I taught high school English in Arlington and adult ed in DC before taking a break from teaching for about a decade. I started my teaching journey again with MCPS in 2025 and am excited to now be at Chevy Chase Elementary! When I'm not teaching, I love to write, bake, hike, participate in community theater (though never on stage), and of course, spend time with my family. |
