Laura C Vukelich, Special Education
I'm originally from New York and taught grades 1-8 in NYC for 17 years. I moved to Maryland in 2024 and I'm very excited to join the CCES community! I went to Indiana University, where I studied elementary education, then got my Master's degree in special education from Hunter College. I love spending time with my husband, our son, Wyatt, and my loyal dog, Charlie. When I'm not teaching, you can find me at a bookstore, a museum, pilates classes or at a cafe catching up with friends. |

Tracy Winston, Special Education
Hi! Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs - go Eagles!! I started in MCPS in 2005 after graduating from the University of Maryland with my bachelors and masters in special education and certification in elementary education. I joined the CCES team in 2008 as a special education teacher. I left in 2016 to have my son (and later my daughter), but you know what they say… once a cheetah, always a cheetah. After part-time at another school, and time at home with my babies, I returned in 2024 to continue with the student services team. I am now taking on the role as the math focus teacher and couldn’t be more excited! |
