URGENT: PTA Board Members Needed
The Candlewood PTA plays an essential role in our school community, bringing families together, supporting our students and staff, and raising funds that directly benefit Candlewood. 
The PTA is now at a critical point. We currently have openings for several key positions on the PTA board. 
You don't have to do it alone — our current board members are committed to supporting a smooth transition and will be there every step of the way. But we need folks to raise their hands.
If you've ever benefited from what our PTA does, or if you want to have an impact on the Candlewood community, this is your moment to give back. The election happens on May 5th and we need nominations by April 25.
Executive VP
Serves as a key partner and advisor to the PTA President, offering input on decisions, helping ensure events and initiatives stay on track throughout the year, and stepping in for the President when needed.
 
VP Public Relations
Creates flyers for events, updates the PTA website, shares information on social media, and serves as an admin on the Facebook groups.

VP Enrichment
Coordinates after-school enrichment programs with vendors and collaborates with VP of PR to ensure all programs are accessible on the PTA website. The time commitment for this role increases for several weeks in the early fall, mid-winter, and early spring when programs are being coordinated.
 
VP of Fundraising
Leads fundraising events such as Spirit Wear, Restaurant Nights, Art to Remember, Read-a-Thon, and the Book Fair.
