All students in grades 9-11 will given the PSAT in all MCPS high schools during school hours. Students in grade 12 will not be testing but are expected to arrive on time for a special program that includes assembling for the class photograph. Parents and Guardians are invited our annual Back-to School Program. There will be a meeting for parents/guardians of ESOL Students from 6-7 pm and a meeting for parents/guardians of Resource Students from 6-7 pm. A Community Organizations and Services Fair will also be held from 6-7 pm. Starting at 7 pm, parents/guardians will follow their child’s daily class schedule to meet the teachers and get a brief overview of each course. Many fun activities are scheduled for the week of September 20-25 to promote school spirit and celebrate the homecoming tradition. Wheaton will battle Kennedy in this year’s Homecoming Football Game on Friday, September 24 at 6:30 pm. A Pep Rally is scheduled for Friday afternoon and the Annual Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 25. Time is running out to complete your summer reading.
