Paying Extracurricular Activity (ECA) Fees Online

We are pleased to announce that parents can now pay student ECA fees online by credit card using Montgomery County Public School's Financial Management System (FMS). The ECA fee, otherwise known as the activity fee, supports adult-supervised, extracurricular activities, such as sports and clubs, for middle and high school students. Students who pay the fee are entitled to participate in one or more programs during the year. Below is information about accessing the ECA payment page and paying ECA fees.

How do I access the ECA payment page?

Refer to the information below on registering and on what you need at hand to pay online, then click here to access the page for paying the activity fee.

When is the online system, FMS, available?

Sunday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight

Friday

6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday

6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Day before a holiday (for example, the day before Thanksgiving or July 4th)

6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Holiday

6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight

The system is not available every other Sunday due to routine hardware maintenance.

Online payment of student ECA fees is unavailable from the beginning of May until mid July due to fiscal year end closing activities.

What information do I need to pay ECA fees?

  • The student ID number for each student whose activity fee you are paying
  • Your credit card information

How do I pay ECA fees?

If this is the first time you are paying ECA fees online:

  1. Click Register to create a username and password.
  2. Shop for the ECA fee:
    • Add the item to the cart.
    • Add student information.
  3. Click Checkout.
  4. Provide shipping and billing information.
  5. Place the order.

If you have previously paid ECA fees online:

  1. Log in.
  2. Shop for the ECA fee:
    • Add the item to the cart.
    • Add student information.
  3. Click Checkout.
  4. Select from existing shipping and billing information or add new information.
  5. Place the order.
