PSAT Testing - Wednesday, October 11

Dear Wootton HS Students, Parents, and Caregivers,

This week, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, Wootton High School will administer the PSAT to all Grade 10 and some Grade 11 students only. MCPS transportation is running normally, and the auditorium will be available for students not participating in the PSAT. If students or caregivers provide transportation to school, they should arrive no later than 11:45am.

Please find the bell schedule below.

9th Grade

All 9th grade students should arrive at school no later than 11:45am on PSAT Day. If students require MCPS transportation, they should be at their bus stops at normal times. The auditorium will be available for those students until the PSAT administration is over.

10th Grade

All 10th graders should arrive at normal time and be in testing locations no later than 7:45am. MCPS transportation runs on a normal day schedule.

What’s on the PSAT/NMSQT?

What to Bring on Test Day? FULLY charged MCPS-issued device and an approved calculator. Students taking the test CAN NOT take it on a personal/private device.

11th Grade

Only those 11th grade students who paid the assessment fee will participate in the PSAT testing.

All 11th graders involved in the PSAT assessment should arrive at normal time and be in testing locations no later than 7:45am. MCPS transportation runs on a normal day schedule.

All 11th grade students NOT participating in the PSAT should arrive at school no later than 11:45am. on PSAT Day. If students require MCPS transportation, they should be at their bus stops at normal times. The auditorium will be available for those students until the PSAT administration is over.

12th Grade

The Senior Breakfast takes place in the cafeteria at 10:30am. At 11:49am, all seniors will be dismissed to period 1. All classes will take place in the afternoon, but are shortened. Parents who are donating items can drop items off in the main office any time before 9:00am. Parents who are coming to help serve should arrive to the cafeteria at 10:00am.
