Attention Math Team Students! Today starts the spring session for the math team activity.

Attention staff and students: Sources of Strength will meet TODAY during lunch in room 43 in the health room.
This is a reminder to students taking an Advanced Placement (AP) class who want to take an AP exam. You need to register online and time is running out. You can register and pay online for your exam(s) at the same time. You can order your exam at Total Registration.net or go through Wootton’s webpage under AP Exam Registration. The registration process takes a few minutes to enter in all your important information. We are down to the last three days to register. TODAY until midnight is the last day.
Come out and support the Senior Class Bake Sale THIS Saturday, March 4th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Kentlands Giant! See you there!
Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits. Please see Mr. Steinbach in Room 169 if you are interested or have any questions. Regardless, feel free to just stop by any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon.
Boys Varsity Lacrosse Tryouts will take place on Thursday, March 1st from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on the field.
Thomas Edison High School of Technology will hold its annual Spring Open House on Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Students and staff at Edison will showcase all the programs that Edison has to offer. Students and parents will also have the opportunity to see pictures of the brand new state-of-art facility that will open its doors this summer. Please do not hesitate to call Edison at 240-740-2000 if you have any questions.
This year the Samuel Williams Leadership Foundation sponsored an art design competition for the 2018 Be T.R.U.E. – 5k WALK/run & WOOTTON Wellness Event on Saturday, March 17th. We are thrilled to announce this year’s winner is: Adina Cohen! Adina’s design will be the design on the 2018 t-shirt for the big event. You have to register by March 2nd to guarantee a shirt for the big event. Come on out and chase the RAINBOW on March 17th!
The French Department continues to celebrate Black History month with another speaker. On Thursday, March 1st, Professor Marc Christophe, Haitian Poet and professor at Howard University, will be coming to read and talk about his poetry in AP French Class during 6th period in room 148. The lecture will be in French. All are welcome!
