     Hear Ye, Hear Ye!  The Ugly Sweater Contest is coming!  Staff and Students, wear your best and most ugly sweater next Friday, December 14th.  Come to the main gym during lunch for a group photo and participate in the Ugly Sweater raffle.  The raffle is free to those wearing sweet, ugly sweaters!  That’s Ugly Sweater Day, coming next Friday, December 14th.”

    The Wootton Red Cross Club Blood Drive will be all day on Tuesday, December 18th!  See Mr. Benya in Room 180 for more information and to sign up.  Donate blood to save a life!

      all Seniors:  Parking Permit applications for the Spring semester are now available in the Wootton Online Store.  Even if you currently have a parking permit, you MUST reapply for the Spring semester.  Application deadline is Friday, January 11th at 3 PM.

    Music Fridays are BACK!!!  Join the music listening party every Friday.  Each week we will listen to a classic album.  This week: The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds.  Join Mr. Lowe and Mr. Hitchens in Room 241.

    Hey Wootton Sports Fans

     

    This Saturday kicks off the winter sports season with Swim and Dive taking on Northwest at noon at the Gaithersburg Aquatics Center.  Also, Girls and Boys basketball take on Poolesville.  Girls travel and Boys host at 12:45 and 2:30.  Come out and support your friends and cheer on our teams.

    Buy tickets for Coffeehouse, a night of acoustic performances and free food!!  Coffeehouse will be TODAY,Friday, December 7th from 6pm to 9pm.  Tickets will be on sale in the commons during lunch on December 5th, 6th and 7th for $5. Also, if you’d like to be part of the performances, send your auditions to woottonlit@gmail.com.

    A huge congratulations to Wootton Acappella for beating over 30 choirs in the mix107.3 holiday choir competition. As the winners they have won $5,000 for the music department and will sing live on the radio next Wednesday morning! They would like to thank everyone who voted for them over the week! Congrats again!
