Morning Announcements - 4/6/18

Attention Patriots!  Did you know that April is Arab-American Heritage Month? Arab Americans and Americans of Middle Eastern heritage have a long history in the United States. They are U.S. military heroes, entertainers, politicians and scientists. They are Lebanese, Egyptian, Iraqi and more. Yet the representation of Arab Americans in the mainstream media tends to be quite limited. Arab American Heritage Month, observed in April, marks a time to reflect on the contributions Arab Americans have made to the U.S. and the diverse group of people who make up the nation’s Middle Eastern population.

We are celebrating School Library Media Programs this month.  Please send a big shout out to our awesome Media Staff! Thanks for all you do for our students and staff at Wootton High School!

Thank you Wootton students! We had so many students participate in the Midnight Madness event that SGA is able to donate over $1400 to A Wider Circle. A Wider Circle is the charitable group that the SGA project supported last year – our speaker was helped by them and we were able donate over $1400 in Wootton’s name to them this year again! Thank you for your support of Midnight Madness!
