Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30pm to 4:00 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.  Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits. Please see Mr. Steinbach in Room 169 if you are interested or have any questions.  Regardless, feel free to just stop by any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon.

TONIGHT is Wootton’s Band Concert!  Come out to our free concert tonight to hear some of the best Instrumentalists in all of Maryland play classic band music, as well as some newer music.  There will also be a few holiday tunes.  The concert is in Wootton’s auditorium and begins at 7:00 p.m.  The groups that will be performing are the Jazz Ensemble, the Concert Band, the Symphonic Band and the Chamber Winds. Come out, relax and enjoy a wonderful concert tonight. 

Wootton’s Muslim Student Association will be hosting a henna fundraiser to collect funds for the Muslim Interscholastic Tournament (MIST). This will be during lunch in room 247 through Thursday, December 21^st. Come by to support Wootton’s MSA and get a henna tattoo for only $5. See you there!

If anyone is interested in participating in TNL, please attend the information meeting on Wednesday, December 20^th during lunch in the lecture hall room 183.

The Minority Scholars Program is hosting a Coat Drive! Bring your used winter coats, jackets, scarves, gloves, hats, and sleeping bags to room 248 or room 231 during lunch between Monday, December 18^th through Thursday, January 4^th! All donations will be given to Thrive DC, a local organization dedicated to helping the District’s homeless population.  

Have you ever wanted to do a sport but haven’t found the right one for you? Well, you should join Wootton’s new Spring sport MBC rowing. Rowing is the best full body workout. It’s also an amazing coed sport for college. We’ve send previous rowers to top universities such as Dartmouth and Georgetown. Montgomery Boat Club consists of athletes from all over the county that compete nationally and internationally. If interested, come to room 289 on Friday, December 22^nd at the start of lunch. Meet new friends, find your passion, and come to MBC!

Hallo! Are you interested in traveling to Germany this June? Rockville’s city, Pinneberg, has invited us to visit their city and country this summer. Because of our cities’ relationship with Pinneberg this is very economical way to visit Europe. Please see Mr. Coon with any questions and come to the informational meeting at lunch tomorrow! Attention Wootton students who are 16 or older: the MCPS Board of Elections’s Student Empowerment Campaign is coming to register students to vote and to register students as election judges who an earn money or SSL hours. The process is quick, simple, and free! So, come to the cafeteria during lunch on Monday, December 18^th; Tuesday, December 19^th; or Wednesday, December 20^th. Make sure to bring your driver’s license or other form of official ID. A student ID will not be accepted. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any SGA member or Mrs. Cresham in room 153.

Yearbooks are still on sale! Buy your yearbook before December 31^st before the price goes up. Also, purchase your Senior ads now! Go to the school website for information.

Attention Seniors: If you purchased a panoramic class photo, please stop by room 41 during lunch or after school to pick it up. You must show an ID in order to pick up your yearbook.
