Mitchell Duque - WJ Girls & Boys Tennis Coach
WJ welcomed Mitchell Duque to the school's coaching staff for the 2013 Girls Tennis season.
Mr. Duque is a USPTA certified professional with over 29 years of playing experience and has taught private lessons since 1996. Mr. Duque coached the boys varsity tennis team at Magruder High School from 2011-2013. In 2012 he guided Magruder to the Division II title and was awarded the 2012 MCPS Athletics Sportsmanship Award. Mr. Duque is currently an MCPS substitute and an assistant tennis professional at Norbeck Country Club. He has formally worked as a fourth grade teacher in MCPS. In his younger days, Mr. Duque played for Quince Orchard high school where his accomplishments included an undefeated season in doubles, a Division II championship, and a share of the Division I title his senior year.
