The Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES), in collaboration with the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), will be conducting a FREE 9-week Saturday Science Academy starting, February 2, 2019, for underserved minority youth in the Washington DC metropolitan area at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus located in Bethesda, Maryland. The students and staff of Rocky Hill will be conducting their 6th annual blood and toy drive on December 11, 2018, in honor of former student Sam Moore '10 who passed away from a brain tumor in August of 2012. You must be 18 years or older to donate. If you are over 16 years old, you may donate with written permission from a parent/guardian. Click for more info on how to participate.
Has your child received a flu shot yet? If your child is between the ages of 3 and 18 years, make an appointment for your child to receive a free flu shot at John F. Letters with directions on activating parent portal accounts were mailed to any parent who has not activated an account starting the week of July 23rd. Features include announcements, calendars, assignments, quick access, academic records and other resources.
