Powerpoint presented at Principal/Parent Breakfast by J. Darius Greene

On January 11, 2019, we had our 3rd Principal/Parent Breakfast at Robert Frost Middle School.  Our special guest speaker was J. Darius Greene, the Assistant Director of Arts and Humanities at University of Maryland.  Mr. Greene gave an outstanding presentation on "What Parents Can Do To Prepare Their Middle School Students For College".  We have made the Power Point presentation available for your viewing.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities College Fair

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities College Fair, co-sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools and the Montgomery County Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has been scheduled for Friday, February 22, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Universities of Shady Grove, Building III.

STEAM and Culture Night, Thursday, February 28th

STEAM and Culture Night will be held on Thursday, February 28th, 2019, from 6:00-8:30 p.m., and we need volunteers to participate in the event!  We hope you choose to be part of this night, and get a chance to "Experience Excellence" and see why our students are some of the "Best Students on this Planet".

MAP-M and MAP-R Testing Letter and Timeline

The Measures of Academic Progress for Math and Reading (MAP-M and MAP-R) assessment will occur in the fall, winter and spring.  MAP is a computer-adaptive achievement test that quickly provides an assessment of a student's skill level in the different reading and mathematical achievement areas.

The 2017 PARCC and High School Assessments

We have the results of the 2017 Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC).  Our school's report is now available.

MCPS Drinking Water Testing Program

As a part of the Montgomery County Public Schools Drinking Water Testing Program, all drinking water outlets in our schools will be tested for lead levels by the end of June 2018.  The tests have been completed at Robert Frost Middle School and the test results and follow up are provided in the attached letter and Executive Summary.
