LOPA 2021

There’s still time to sign up for the 2021 London Paris trip sponsored by Ms. Ashman. All students currently in 7th and 8th grade are invited to join Ms. Ashman on a once-in-a-lifetime international travel experience with their peers during Summer 2021 to Europe!  

RFMS STEAM and Culture Night - Call for Showcases!

Robert Frost Middle School is hosting their annual STEAM and Culture night—and we need volunteers to showcase! This event will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  If you choose to participate, we will have a space available for you and your equipment, and will try to honor any other requests you have. Robert Frost Middle School Fall & Winter 2019-2020 After School Club Packet

Attention Students and Parents-The Robert Frost Middle School Fall & Winter 2019-2020 After-School Clubs Packet has been distributed to students. We are offering many clubs for our students to select from.  The clubs are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Some are weekly, some every other week and some once a month.  Please check the club packet for details and be sure follow the directions on the application form attached to the back of the packet.  The forms are due to the Main Office on Tuesday, September 24th.  Please be sure to fill your name in on the top of the form before turning the form into the office.

Homeroom Lists

Attached are the 2019/2018 Homeroom Lists.  Tuesday the 6th grade students will go to the cafeteria first and the teachers will then take the students to their Homeroom classes.  The 7th ad 8th grade students will go directly to their Homerooms.  They can find their Homeroom number by checking the website or the posters which are posted in the lobby as they enter the school.  Thank you and we are excited to see all of our students on Tuesday, September 3rd.  Remember school begins at 8:15am. Click here Homeroom List.

Students Ride Free all the Time with Youth Cruiser Smartrip card

Any Ride On and most Metrobuses in Montgomery County you can now ride free with a Youth Cruiser Smart Trip card.  You can pick one up at public libraries and select schools, and a few select locations noted on the flyer attached.  Also subscribe to email alerts at

Immunizations required for 7th Grade students and locations of free clinics

All incoming seventh grade students must receive vaccinations against Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap) and Meningococcal meningitis (MCV4) prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.  We have a list of walk in clinic locations and hours of operation that offer these vaccinations free of charge for our students.  If you have any questions, call the Robert Frost Health Room at 301-279-3960.

We are very excited and are looking forward to the new school year 2019-2020.  We hope everyone is enjoying your summer and experiencing new adventures, and relaxing with family.  We are listing information that should be useful for the new school year.  We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer, and we will look forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school, September 3, 2019.  Our Back To School Night is Thursday, September 26, 2019, 7:00 p.m.  Included here are school supplies, MCPS calendar, bus lists, PTA membership forms, attendance policy, and Principal/Parent Breakfast schedule.

Robert Frost Summer Math Packets

Our Summer Math Packets are available here on the website for your convenience.  The packets are also available in the counseling office if you would prefer to stop by the school and pick a packet up at the school.  If you are unsure of which packet to complete, call the office and we will direct you to your counselor and they will help you in determining which packet to work on.  We hope everyone has a great summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at Frost this September.

Yearbook Expectations

Robert Frost Yearbooks have been distributed to students.  We have a few left and we are selling them at SOAR for $50.00.  Students please heed the five expectations we have outlined for the yearbook.
