MOCO STEM For Kids @ RMS

MOCO STEM For Kids, a local non-profit that brings STEM opportunities to MCPS students, is offering after-school classes to students of RMS Students at no cost to families/students. They  meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:05 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. Classes started Wednesday, October 1st, but you can still sign up! Students are taught computer programming (Scratch) and Fentanyl awareness in this 15 week program, extending to January 2026. Sessions can accommodate up to 20 students and students can take the afterschool activity bus home after each session. Parents can sign their children up here.
