8th Grade & MCPS Home Chromebook & Charger Collections Dates:
Eighth-grade students who currently have an MCPS Home Device and charger are required to turn them in during the week of June 8th (6/8-6/11) before the field trip to Kings Dominion on June 12th.
Students can return the Chromebook and chargers to the Media Center, and staff will remove them from their MCPS account.
Attention 6th and 7th Grade Parents! Are you interested in volunteering for the 8th-grade promotion? The 8th grade is in need of parent volunteers to help with running a smooth promotion ceremony. We are looking for at least twelve (12) volunteers. Please fill out this form if you are interested in volunteering. Of that, we will need eight (8) volunteers to attend both the promotion practice and the promotion on Tuesday, June 16th. Practice will be held from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m. The end time will depend on how quickly we get through all the information we need to share. The 8th Grade Promotion is from 5:45 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. We need four (4) volunteers to assist with ticket verification at the entry. We ask that all volunteers arrive at 5:35 p.m. to be set up for when the doors open at 5:45 p.m.
