Pyle Math Team
On Saturday 2/7/26, 14 members of the Pyle Math Team competed at the University of Maryland in the Math Counts Chapter level competition against public and private schools from all across Montgomery and Prince George's counties. We came in 7th place out of 30 teams! Three students scored in the top 20% of over 300 individuals and will advance to the Maryland State competition in March: William Cheung (7th grade), Albert Zhou (8th grade), and Sierra Ferguson (8th grade). Sierra was Pyle's top scorer, placing 11th out of around 300 individuals! If you see them, be sure to congratulate them! We go to the State competition on March 14th.
