The Book Fair is coming
One week left until the Book Fair!
The North Chevy Chase Book Fair will take place Mon, October 12th to Weds, Oct 14th!
Below is everything you need to know for the event.
When will my child visit the fair? Is it open to families?
Students can visit the Fair with their teacher during the school day. Set up an e-wallet or send cash.
Setting up an e-wallet
Your student can pay in cash or go cash-free with e-Wallet, the digital payment option that lets families and friends add money so kids can shop the Book Fair independently.
To set up an e-wallet for your student to use, start by visiting the website here.

Scroll down and find the "Students Shop Cash Free with e-wallet" box and click "Get Started"

Once you are signed in, click "Create e-wallet for this fair"

Add your students name and the amount you wish for them to spend
Fair events open to families:
Mon, Oct 12th - NCC Open House (book fair will be open during Open House hours)
Weds, Oct 14th - Family Night (5-7:30 pm)
Please be sure to stop by! Proceeds from the Fair go to support our school, provide books to students in need, stock teacher classrooms with new reading material, and promote literacy.
Can my child and I shop the Fair online or preview the books prior to the event?
Yes! Scholastic flyers will be sent home in your child's backpack mail soon. You can also preview and shop the Fair online here.
What's the best way to purchase books for my child and help fulfill teacher wish lists?
Set up an e-wallet (preferred). The fair will also accept cash and credit cards (for family events).

Teacher wish list selected books will be available on select tables at the event should you wish to donate to their classroom.
I would like to purchase books for my child but need assistance or I would like to donate resources to Share the Fair.
Teachers will be given a number of "Share the Fair" vouchers to be distributed to select students in class. If your family requires a voucher, please have your child ask their homeroom teacher.
