Caregiver Climate Survey
It’s that time again! MCPS is conducting a fall and spring climate survey this year for families. Last year, with fewer than 25% of families completing the survey, Argyle led the entire district in the top 3 schools to receive parent voice. That was a significant celebration compared to the year before, when we only had the voices of 21 families. Our Instructional Leadership Team used the voices of families over the summer to inform decision-making in our school programming. We want your voice to be a part of that decision-making! November SGA Meetings
Fall into FUN as you attend a November SGA meeting on November 5th and/or 19th in room 202 after school. Students, do you want to make things happen at Argyle? Then be sure to attend an SGA meeting so your voices and ideas can be heard.
SGA Workshops
The SGA had lots of FUN at it 1st Workshop on RESILIENCE! We invite even more students to come out to our 2nd Workshop on TEAMWORK, Wednesday, November 5th. We will meet in room 202, after school from 3-4:25pm. Those who attend will earn SSL hours.

Hey Argyle Students, the SGA will be hosting a series of workshops on LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK and RESILIENCE. Our first one will be about RESILIENCE happening on Wednesday, October 22nd from 3pm-4:20pm. Don't miss this opportunity. SSL hours will be given for each workshop you attend.
MoCo Pride Author Night: Earn SSL hours
MoCo Pride Youth Presents An Evening with Authors and Illustrators From A Recent Supreme Court Case on October 8 at 7 pm. Students will be awarded 2 SSL hours for active participation. RSVP at bit.ly/mocoprideoct
Community Yard Sale
Hey Argyle Family, join us on Saturday, October 18th from 8am-12pm for our Community Yard Sale. Clean out your closets, garages, and storage rooms and bring items to sale by renting a space for $20 and/or table for an additional $5. Hope to see you there!
October SGA Meetings
The Student Government Association (SGA) is excited to announce our first meeting for the school year happening on Wednesday, October 1st. We are looking for students from ALL grade levels who are passionate, motivated, and have ideas for improving Argyle culture and represent your fellow students to make a difference. The SGA invites all students to attend our October meetings on the 1st, 8th, and 22nd of after school. Come out and begin your journey in leadership helping SGA plan events and activities for this coming school year. Also applications are now being accepted for the open Officers positions of Treasurer, 8th Grade Student Representative, and 6th Grade Student Representative and are due by October 8th. 6th Grade Summer Mini-Orientation
Argyle is eager to welcome our new 6th grade students and families! We are hosting two summer mini-orientations on Thursday, August 7 at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. These hour-long sessions will include general school information, a building tour, and an opportunity to meet some of our amazing staff members.
