Capstone Interviews - December 10th!

Students please come to school December 10th prepared for your interviews and dressed to impress in "Business" or "Business Casual" clothing.  Interviews will be held in the Media Center.  Please check the "All Things 8th Grade" Classroom for updates about times, etc.

Argyle Parent Digital Citizenship

This school year, Argyle was awarded a prestigious grant from Verizon that provides every student in the building with an iPad for learning and instruction. A component of the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) program is Parent Digital Citizenship.  Parents and families who still need to complete their required Parent Digital Citizenship session can find the on-line module at http://mcpsmd.instructure.com/register. 

Magnet Test Prep Has Started

Magnet Test Prep has begun and will run until Dec 5th every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in room 131 from 3:15 pm until 4:30 pm.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Randall-Jones.

Drama Club

Interested in singing, acting or dancing? Or are you creative and want to help with costumes and set design? Join Drama Club every Tuesday and Thursday in room 120 from 3:15-5pm. 

Going to Kennedy Next Year?

Visit the Academies section of their web site to learn about the various academic programs offered at John F. Kennedy High School.  Please be sure to fill out the Open House Survey if you were able to attend an open house session. The survey is available in Spanish, Amharic and French if needed!

Beginning October 1st , students must have a Youth Cruiser Smartrip Card to access the Kids Ride Free Program

All Montgomery County Public Schools’ students ages 18 and younger can ride  free all the time on  Ride On buses and most Metrobuses within Montgomery County.
