Cell Phones in School

Less Phone Time = More Learning Time For the 2026–2027 school year, MCPS will limit how personal mobile devices can be used during the school day. Limiting phone use during class helps students stay focused, engaged and better able to retain information. Learn more.

Need a Chromebook for Home Use?

Required Student Vacccinations

The Annotated Code of Maryland (10.06.04.03) states that all Maryland students who are new to Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and those entering Grade 7, are required to provide documentation of required vaccinations or a medical or religious exemption. This documentation is required within the first 20 days of school. Click here to access link to letter.
