  • Redland's Relay for Life

    The National Junior Honor Society has joined Relay For Life of Olney. Relay for Life is an all day, all night event at Sherwood High School, June 4th 2016. The NJHS will be on the track walking and raising funds for the American Cancer Society. We would love to have you join us and contribute to our efforts to help everyone celebrate more birthdays!! Our team name is Redland NJHS.  Click on the link to join the team or contribute to the cause.  Next week the NJHS will be selling Valentine Bracelets for $1.00 each,  buy one for your self or buy one for a friend. Bracelets will delivered on Friday 2/12 to first period teachers.

    Parents of current 5th grade students are invited to an information night at Redland Middle School on Thursday, February 11th from 7 - 8:30 in the gymnasium.

    Redland's solar panel installation has been completed.  Click on the link to view the recent energy production and performance overview.   • Pennies for Patients

    The National Junior Honor Society will be collecting money this year for the Leukemia and  Lymphoma Society from Feb 1-Feb 12th.Please help us with this task. Leukemia is the #1 Cancer of children, followed closely by brain cancer. It is a blood cancer and is curable if found early.  Boxes will be placed in each 1st period teachers' room.   Each week the classroom that collects the most money will be recognized on the announcements.  The classroom that wins will earn a pizza party!  The last time R.M.S did this they raised $2,000!!  Our goal this year is $2,100.  Send in your change, every little bit helps!

  • George B Thomas Sr. Learning Academy Saturday School

    Saturday School at Magruder High School will resume on Saturday, January 9th with satellite bus transportation and breakfast for all students.  You can go online to register at www.saturdayschool.org or call 301-649-8078 for further information.  The Saturday School curriculum is aligned with MCPS and they offer certified MCPS staff and volunteer tutors to assist students with being confident learners.  The cost for the entire year is $40.00 for FARMS students and $70.00 for all others.  Don’t miss this opportunity to boost your child’s confidence, build a positive academic identity and end the first semester on a high note!
