Every Student, Every Chance, Every Day!

Welcome BES Parents, Teachers, and Students and thank you for visiting our brand new website! We know you will find this website a useful tool to keep you informed of PTA activities and events throughout the year. We invite you to join us as we work together with the teachers, school administrators and staff to enhance our children's educational experience. Parent involvement is essential as we coordinate the many activities, book-fairs, and fund-raisers we provide for the students and we hope you will find one that interests you to participate in. Please review the volunteer form located here hyperlink.

The BES PTA website is an excellent source of information about things such as school activities, vacation days, or how to find a teacher's email address. If you have a question, please consult the web site first – you will probably find the answer there. We encourage everyone to join the BES PTA list-serve. It's an easy way to stay in touch with what is going on at the school. Members of the list-serve are able to post and receive messages about school news and events. It is also a way to share information about after-school activities and related events. Please check the website for information on joining.

Thank you in advance for your support and help with PTA committees and fund-raising efforts. We hope to see you at our monthly meetings held on the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of each month in the school library. We try to keep them focused and timely. A member of the school administration or a teacher representative attend our meetings which are a great opportunity for you to keep informed about your child's life in Elementary School. We look forward to seeing you throughout the school year. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me or one of our officers.

Why Join The PTA?

Get connected: It is a great way to know what is happening in your school.
To grow: By volunteering you will gain valuable experience, put your skills, hobbies or spare time to good use for a great cause and in the process meet new people.
Help make positive change: You will be able to offer and share new ideas. Plus the PTA plays an important role in fundraising to provide curriculum supplies, social events, and helps students partake in special events like plays and artist in residence programs. By being a member of the PTA, you support your school by helping to provide funds which enable us to financially support the school and its students. However, this membership does not obligate you in any way to volunteer for PTA events if you are not able at this time. Here you will find the PTA membership form, which is $5.00 per individual, $10.00 per family, or $5.00 for teachers and staff; (checks can be made out to the BES PTA). You can return this form to your child's teacher or bring it to the first PTA meeting.
We hope to see you on Tuesday October 5th for our 1st PTA meeting of the year. Thank you in advance for your time, our children are worth it!
