Charles W. Woodward High School is slated to open in Fall 2027, welcoming students in 9th and 10th grade with a full range of courses designed to engage, challenge, and support every learner. Woodward will offer a full range of approved MCPS courses, including on-level, honors, and advanced coursework, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Additional information will be shared as we get closer to the registration window. |
Woodward's Center Program Pathways
Woodward is a comprehensive high school that will offer a full range of courses designed to meet the needs of our students while challenging them to become college and career ready. As part of the system's Center Program structure, Woodward's pathways fall under two program themes, plus access to Middle College:

Students engage in data analysis, statistical reasoning, computer programming, machine learning models, and ethical AI practices. |
The Montgomery College Middle College Program (MC2) is a program where students are dual enrolled in MCPS and Montgomery College, through which students take college credit courses to earn their high school diploma while also earning an associate's degree through Montgomery College. |
