- Free and Reduced Meals Application for 2023 - 2034
Apply online NOW so that benefits will be in place when school starts! Families who meet certain federal income standards are eligible for free or reduced-price meal benefits. All children use their MCPS ID number at the register so confidentiality is maintained and no child is overtly identified as receiving free or reduced-price meals. Only one application is needed for all students in a household. A new application must be completed for any family requesting assistance this school year.

Meal benefit eligibility from last school year will remain current only through the first 30 scheduled school days OR until a 2023-2024 application is processed.

Car Loop Courtesy Reminders and Expectations

- Arriving and departing school safely is a priority.
- Arrive no earlier than 8:30 AM in the morning
- Drive slowly in the carpool line.
- Please do not park in the assigned spaces at any time.
- Refrain from using your cell phone.
- Students should enter and exit from the passenger side.
- Do not stop in the “GO LANE” which is the left lane.
- Please do not idle your car while waiting in line. (We are a GREEN school and it is a No-Idling Zone.)
- Be mindful of ALL walkers.
- Drive slowly when leaving the car loop.
- Refrain from HONKING!

Morning Car Loop Procedures

- Right Turn only to enter the Parking Lot and Car Loop
- Follow the direction of the staff member and pull all the way up.
- Do not exit your vehicle, a staff member or patrol will open the car door.
- Students will exit from the passenger side.
- Please do not go around cars that are moving slower, please be patient.
Afternoon Car Loop Procedures

- All vehicles in the car loop must have their car tag on the rearview mirror with the number facing out.
- Pull up to the staff member on duty and your number will be called.
- Student/s will walk out to the vehicle. (Please do not call them from the curb to come to the car.)
Please ensure we are all adhering to the carpool loop procedures for the SAFETY and SECURITY of ALL of our children.
